Pitching applications are now open.

You can now apply to a range of speciality retailers below. The deadline to apply is 13th May at 10am and all applicants will be contacted by 15th May. You must have a ticket to The Startup Summit to apply to pitch.

  • Get Listed in Superette

    Superette is an independent food retailer with 2 stores in north London and specialise in luxe and taste, from the most talented small batch food innovators.

    Looking for: Products that look as good as they taste, with beautiful packaging and design as well as premium taste and quality.

  • Get Listed in Selfridges

    Selfridges is an upscale department store in Oxford Street with a foodhall that is famous around the world.

    Looking for: Products in all categories, with particular interest in biscuits, preserves, honey, and cereals.

  • Get Listed in Harvey Nichols

    Harvey Nichols is a luxury department store chain with 7 locations in the UK and Ireland and 14 stores internationally.

    Looking for: Unique and innovative products that customers haven’t seen yet – with a focus on gifting and premium packaging.

  • Get Listed in Laura's Larder

    Laura’s Larder is a specialist food store and delicatessen based in Petts Wood, known for its curated range of high-quality groceries, fresh provisions, and eco-friendly refills.

    Looking for: Innovative chilled and ambient products that bring something fresh and flavourful to their shelves.

Pitching FAQs

  • Yes absolutely! The buyers in attendance are super keen to meet with pre-launch and very early stage brands.

  • As many as you like! Just make sure to have a look at what each buyer is looking for and if your product fits the bill.

  • The pitching will take place at the event in a private area, you will have ten minutes with the buyer.

  • After the deadline (6th March), we will send all applications to the buyers. They’ll choose the brands they want to meet and we’ll let you know the outcome on the 15th May.

  • Keep your application short and snappy. Read about what each buyer is looking for and make sure you tailor your answers in your application form to each one. Don’t just copy and paste your answers. Final tip, make sure your website homepage is looking snazzy and up to date.

  • Yep. However, remember you only have 10 minutes so keep it concise.
