Pitching applications are now open.

You can now apply to a range of speciality retailers below. The deadline to apply is 14th May at midnight and all applicants will be contacted by 21st May. All pitches will take place virtually on Zoom the week after the event. You must have a ticket to The Startup Summit to apply to pitch.

  • Get Listed in Whole Foods Market

    With 7 stores in the UK, Whole Foods Market have a passion for working with start-ups and are committed to the growth of small and local businesses.

    Looking for: Chilled or frozen food and drinks (including dairy/dairy free milks and other drinks such as kombucha) and should be manufactured in a SALSA certified site as a minimum

  • Get Listed in Superette

    Superette is an independent food retailer with 2 stores in north London and specialise in luxe and taste, from the most talented small batch food innovators.

    Looking for: Products that look as good as they taste, with beautiful packaging and design as well as premium taste and quality.

  • Get Listed in Selfridges

    Selfridges is an upscale department store in Oxford Street with a foodhall that is famous around the world.

    Looking for: Products in all categories, but they are particularly interested in seeing biscuits, preserves, honey and cereals.

  • Get Listed in Macknade

    Get Listed in Macknade

    Macknade is the South East's leading food hall, delicatessen, butchery and café, located only two minutes from the M2, in Faversham, Kent.

    Looking for: New products with great quality and taste, great packaging and design, and with a great story.

Pitching FAQs

  • Yes absolutely! The buyers in attendance are super keen to meet with pre-launch and very early stage brands.

  • As many as you like! Just make sure to have a look at what each buyer is looking for and if your product fits the bill.

  • The pitching will take virtualIy on Zoom. t’s a 1-1 meeting the buyer which will last 10 minutes

  • After the deadline (6th March), we will send all applications to the buyers. They’ll choose the brands they want to meet and we’ll let you know the outcome on the 12th March.

  • Keep your application short and snappy. Read about what each buyer is looking for and make sure you tailor your answers in your application form to each one. Don’t just copy and paste your answers. Final tip, make sure your website homepage is looking snazzy and up to date.

  • Yep. However, remember you only have 10 minutes so keep it concise.
