Clare started Monkhouse Food & Drink ( in 2001, after time spent working in sales and marketing within the food and drink industry: Unilever (Bird's Eye Walls), Merrydown Cider, Dynamo agency - key client Diet Coke and Groupe Chez Gerard Restaurants.

Clare comes from a family of cheesemakers, Appleby's - so has always been involved with good food! Monkhouse delivers communications support to food and drink businesses, with a deep understanding of the sector and of SMEs and their challenges.

Clare now extends her communication skills more specifically to individuals and teams, through executive business coaching in a wide variety of business sectors ( With everything, Clare is practical and pragmatic and does not do marketing 'fluff'!
