As head of marketing at Pret, Mark is responsible for their strategy across the UK, US, France and Asia where sales topped £676 million in 2015. Prior to working at Pret, Mark transformed Green & Black’s from a niche organic chocolate into a international brand, increasing annual sales from £4 to £40 million.
He is also a food founder in his own right having co-created Cawston Press. He now advises Cawston Press on brand strategy, marketing and innovation. Mark is also a non-exec director at Union Hand Roasted Coffee, voted best artisan roaster in 2015, and has been praised as Marketer of the Year by the Marketing Society.
