Saturday and Sunday the 12th and 13th of November 2016.

At the Institute of Directors, 116 Pall Mall, London SW1Y 5ED.

It is the UK's first food founders’ festival. That means it is focused on entrepreneurship and provides the tools you need to start and grow a food or drink business.

The Festival is for food and drink entrepreneurs who want to bring their vision to life and those who already have an established business and want to build it. We also have events for businesses that have already ‘made it’ and are household names.

A curated group of businesses that provide vital services and support to food and drink entrepreneurs. They range from packaging providers to accountants to website designers. If we wouldn’t use them, they won’t be allowed to exhibit.

There will be a jam-packed timetable across 6 zones. These include the Keynote Zone, Panel Zone, Workshop Zone, Creative Zone, Exhibition Zone, Tasting Panel and the Advice Bar. The talks, panels and workshops will be given by successful entrepreneurs and industry experts.

Bread & Butter is a great place to get started with your business. You will learn all about the food industry and meet the people who can help point you in the right direction.

If you want to show off your product you can display your product on the Producers’ Table (ambient only) and you can take part in our Tasting Table, where it will be tasted, and feedback provided, by a panel of experts (including buyers, food scientists, chefs and successful entrepreneurs). Please do not bring open products that are not packaged.

If you have a food or drink product you should visit the Festival as a delegate. Get your tickets here. Exhibition stands are available to businesses that support food and drink entrepreneurs.

Unfortunately we don’t have a couch big enough for 1000 food and drink entrepreneurs. You could try asking our friendly community on the FoodHub.

Just a pen and business cards if you have them. At the Festival you will be bombarded with lots of useful, actionable information. Jot this all down on the notepad (provided by us) and you will be halfway there. The business-cards are for the priceless networking opportunities.

We honestly think that the price of the ticket is tiny compared to the extra money that your business will earn with everything that you learn at our festival.

We have committed to making our Festival to be as sustainable as possible. This means that we are looking at every aspect of our event and how we can reduce it’s climate impact.

This is a festival for food and drink entrepreneurs run by food and drink entrepreneurs. We have been there and done it, and know what it takes to succeed in this industry. Read more about us here [link].

Early bird tickets are £100 for one day or £180 for both days. Since many businesses have co-founders we are offering a discount for 2 tickets - £180 for one day and £260 for both days.

If you would like 5 or more tickets please email us for a further discount at hello@breadandbutterfest.com. Normal priced tickets start at £150.

We have discounts for coming to both days and for co-founders. There is also an additional discount for 5 or more tickets. See the answer to the above question.

There will be lunch available at Bread & Butter for purchase. There are also lots of nice eateries in the area around the Institute of Directors.

We can’t refund your ticket, but we know someone who might want it. So if you suddenly find that you can’t make the date try posting on the FoodHub page on Facebook to see if anyone would it or you can tweet us and we’ll RT it to our community to help you find a buyer.

We honestly think that the price of the ticket is tiny compared to the extra money that your business will earn with everything that you learn at our festival.

Since our venue is in Central London the public transport links are very good. The nearest stations are Piccadilly Circus (5 mins, Piccadilly and Bakerloo lines) and Charing Cross (3 mins walk, Northern and Bakerloo lines and National Rail). There are numerous bus routes that service this area. Find out more at www.tfl.gov.uk.

The nearest NCP car park is located close by, at Spring Gardens, Trafalgar Square.

The Festival is held in a Grade 1 listed building and unfortunately they don’t have permanent wheelchair access to the building. However if you let us know in advance we can arrange for it to be put in place.

The Roadshow is like a miniature festival. As well as listening to inspirational talks from a panel of 3 established, local food brand founders you can network and get to know other food and drink entrepreneurs in your area. Everyone who attends a roadshow is entitled to a 10% discount on festival tickets.

The roadshow is for any food and drink entrepreneur who wants to bring their vision to life and those who already have established a brand want to build it.

At each roadshow we will have a panel of three food and drink entrepreneurs who have built successful brands themselves. They will talk about their own journey as well as focusing on how they brought their products to market. There will be ample opportunity to ask them questions and meet them personally after the panel discussion.

Tickets cost £10 per person. This is just to cover our costs. You get to hear three inspiring entrepreneurial stories and meet other local food and drink entrepreneurs. You also get a 10% discount on tickets for the festival.
