Giles Brook, a serial entrepreneur and investor, has spent his entire career in the food and drink industry. As a former board member of innocent smoothies, Brook helped to drive the business and quadruple sales to over £100m in just four years.

After leaving Innocent to focus on his own ventures, Brook launched Vita Coco, in the UK, where he is currently EMEA CEO for the business. The leading coconut water brand tells one of the biggest global success stories in non-alcoholic drinks over the last decade.

Giles invests in several start-up businesses (Pip & Nut, Dalstons, Ember, We Are Tea, Mindful Chef, Sir Kensington as food examples) and until recently was a founding partner in Urban Fresh Foods Limited, whose brand, BEAR, after just 7 years, has already become the UK’s No.1 fruit snacking brand & Uk No.1 kids lunchbox brand. Urban Fresh Foods Limited has appeared twice in The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 list. The brand was acquired by Lotus Bakeries in 2015.

Giles’ unrivalled experience of the food and drink industry was recognised at the 2014 Grocer Gold Awards, winning the first ever ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ award. More recently, he has climbed up The Grocer’s Food & Drink Power List and is the highest-ranked individual on the list outside of global and multi-national CEOs. Giles is dedicated to helping start-up businesses and regularly takes time out of the office to guide and mentor entrepreneurs.

Outside of work, family & triathlon take up the rest of Giles’ time and in triathlon, he races GBR although this years focus is his first full ironman in Zurich.
