Michael is one of London’s leading business interviewers. His interviews include the former British Prime Minister David Cameron, the musician will.i.am, Wikipedia’s Jimmy Wales, Dragons’ Den’s Peter Jones and the Olympic legend Jessica Ennis-Hill. From the world of food and drink Michael has interviewed Ella’s Kitchen founder Paul Lindley, Whole Foods founder John Mackey, former Tesco chief Sir Terry Leahy, Yo! Sushi’s CEO Robin Rowland and Leon restaurant co-founders John Vincent and Henry Dimbleby. He is newly appointed as the business anchor for London Live’s flagship business interview programme, The Capital Conversation. He co-founded both the campaigns firm Seven Hills and the national initiative for early stage firms StartUp Britain. He is co-author of the Penguin best seller, ‘Mission: How the Best in Business Break Through’, and Chairman of Entrepreneurs at the private bank Coutts. Michael holds an Honorary Doctorate in economics from the University of London and is a University of Cambridge Judge Business School Honorary Fellow in Entrepreneurship. He was listed in GQ Magazine's Inaugural 100 Most Connected Men and was awarded an MBE for services to entrepreneurship.
