Here's what we've got planned on top of the incredible workshops and talks at Bread & Jam this year. Most of these are located in the Marketplace area. For activities that require advance booking, please make sure that you reserve your slot as soon as you've got your ticket as it's first come, first served.
Please note that you must have a ticket to Bread & Jam to take part in these opportunities.
Umbrella will be hosting a design clinic at their stall for anyone who's branding (or lack thereof) needs a bit of attention. They will offer advice on how to make your product market ready and shine a light on the design process for those who are early stage. For companies slightly further down the line, they can offer recommendations for your current branding and make sure everything from colour palettes to packaging is hitting the mark and getting you seen. Pre-bookable 20 minute slots are available between 10am-1pm, and from 2pm they will be open to drop ins. Please email email@example.com with a bit of background about your product and to book your spot.
Book your free 20 minute appointment with equity fundraising expert Julia Elliott Brown from Enter the Arena, to get instant feedback on how investable your business is, the best routes to raise finance, and your action plan for next steps. Julia is a leading startup equity fundraising expert with over 20 years of experience in building startups from idea through to growth and exit.
Grab yourself a 15 minute free consultation with Pedro Mendez from PM Consulting to make sure your label is compliant and you're doing the right thing with your nutritional and health claims. Bring your product along so you can get your artwork checked and make sure everything's good to go before a major production run.
Please note that clinics are only available on Friday 6th October. Please visit Pedro's stand on the day to secure your consultation slot.
Product Photography pop up studio
Get your product photos sorted by Tom Waller of Food Envy Photography at his pop up studio in the Marketplace area. Book your slot for a professional shoot against a white background. Bring your products along on the day so Tom can get to work while you're enjoying the rest of the activities, workshops & talks at the festival.
Small + Medium (72 dpi ideal for online): £35 for both versions
Large (300 dpi for print): £55
All three: £75
All shots will be corrected for exposure and colour and Tom can Photoshop (£15 per image) any blemishes and place on a transparent background (£35 per image) too.
Exporting strategy Sessions
Chat to Victoria Boldison from Bolst Global about your plans for entering into international markets. Bolst Global will be onsite on Friday and Saturday, ready to answer your questions and begin crafting your export strategy for international success. Victoria will also be delivering a workshop in the Growth Labs on Saturday specifically about one of the fastest growing export markets for UK brands: the Gulf region.
The Producers Table
A huge hit of the show last year, The Producers' Table has doubled in size for this year's festival and will be in the main Marketplace area. Bring along your products for the table and check out what everyone else has brought along too. Our buyers, VIPs and press attendees will be directed to the table throughout the course of the day.
Please note that we don't have any storage, cooking or preparation facilities, so please bring your products in their packaging to be displayed on the table. Our attendees may like to sample your products (yay!) so please put products on the table that you are happy to share with everyone. We can't guarantee that they will still be there at the end of the day.
The After Party
Hooray! After a long day of learning, networking and pitching, please join us in the Marketplace for a few drinks courtesy of Speciality Food Magazine when the lunch area will transform into a bubbly and beer bar. Whether you have a Friday or Saturday ticket, everyone is welcome after 5pm when the festivities begin.
